Primitive Apparel X Vans OTW : Blvd Denim Bedford

Teaming up with Vans is a dream come true. The Primitive Apparel crew is made of a bunch of California native 80's babies who were pretty much born with Vans on our feet. Needless to say, our appreciation for their shoes runs deep.

During a sit down at the Vans corporate offices a while back, we were asked to design something within the OTW category. We gladly accepted the offer, as we already had our eye on the Bedford model. We've always seen the Bedford as a modernized Half Cab with Premium OTW detailing.

The paneling of this shoe allows for such great mixtures of fabric and color play. We decided to go with a combination of suede and washed denim base, tortoise leather tongue, and reverse denim guts. Copper hardware is used on the top three eyelets, further complimenting the shoe's denim theme. Our Nuevo Script is seen on the heel and footbeds, while the inner woven label reads "OFF THE WALL X ON THE BLVD." This of course is in ode to our flagship location on Ventura Blvd.

With only a few hundred pairs made, we're excited to offer you the very limited Blvd Denim Bedford.
